Getting all set for a hike through Silver Falls Park. It was a great day for hiking, nice an cool, no rain, and very few people when we started. Here you see Andrew and Megan getting Austin suited up in his pack.

Here we are all ready to go. The trail goes from the South falls to the North Falls and there is a rim trail you can take back. It is about 8 to 9 miles round trip. I haven't walked this far in a long time so we will see how it goes.

South Falls

The trail was a little wet in places but in really good shape and the views along the river is awesome.

The picture above shows a falls you can walk behind and the picture below you can see Megan behind the falls. It gives you a perspective the size of the falls.

Enjoy the pictures:-)

The falls above is huge, the picture below shows Brian standing behind it and when I tried to get the whole falls in the picture I couldn't see Brian. It was also very loud.

Picture from behind the same falls.

This is Winter Falls, in the summer there is only a small trickle of a falls.

Thanks for visiting:-) We had a a good hike and I survived the 8+ miles we walked.
